Soya/Soy hulls for mushroom substrate
Soya hulls are a by-product of soybean oil and meal production and help to provide an excellent source of digestible fibre.
The Soya Hull pellets will break down easily with water, which makes them ideal for use as an ingredient in the mushroom substrate, providing much-needed nutrients.

Masters mix is perfect for making big healthy fast fruiting wood loving mushrooms
Masters mix is a simple mix of half soy/soya hulls and half Hardwood sawdust or hardwood fuel pellets (HWFP) then mixed to an added water content of 60% meaning buying 1Kg of soy hulls here mixed with 1Kg of hardwood sawdust and 2.4 Litres of water will yield you 4.4Kg of Masters mix.
Masters mix is used worldwide because of its high yields and fast colonization times.
Masters mix must be sterilized before inoculation, once sterilized the substrate is extremely prone to contamination due to being both highly nutrient-dense and without a living microbiome. once Sterilised and cooled to room temperature it should be inoculated using an aseptic technique.
Friendly reminder, sanitation is your best friend. one sloppy step could lead to unfortunate contamination in your growth!
